2025 - Overwintered six frame Langstroth nucleus colony of bees with 2024 UK mated Buckfast queen. The bees are calm and gentle, perfect for a new beekeeper or for expanding an existing apiary. Amazing temperament and high-proven foraging capability! Perfect for Langstroth or Flow Hive.

We will notify you a few weeks in advance of the availability of our Langstroth bee nucs via email/SMS. Once ready, collection can be arranged from our location in North Leicestershire, or we can deliver anywhere in the UK via Royal Mail Special Delivery (£10 charge applied at the checkout).
Deposits are non-refundable and the full balance must be paid before delivery/collection.

Bee Health
Our honey bees are very productive and calm which makes beekeeping inspections a pleasure. We use Buckfast Queens, known for their calm temperament and high honey crop. We are using 'pure' F0 breeder queens from the best queen breeders and mate all our queens in the UK to ensure the best genetics are achieved.
Diseases/Bee Health - All our colonies are thoroughly inspected for any signs of diseases before selling. All nucs treated against Varroa mites in the Autumn and Winter as part of the Integrated Pest Management and comply with VMD approved treatment and guidelines set by Defra.

Aftercare & Collection
We will require an initial deposit of £50 (non-refundable). The balance will be invoiced and emailed to you when your bees are ready. The bees will become available from the end of April/early May (weather-dependent) and will be housed in a fully ventilated brand new Poly Nucleus with the travel screen
Free Aftercare/ full support for new beekeepers will be available via WhatsApp, or by email.

Our Langstroth nucs are fully compatible with UK Flow Hives and will provide a perfect fit.
Our nucs use the standard Langstroth Frame sizes with the following measurements :

The frames will also fit all standard Langstorth hives from Abelo/Lyson, Paradise,HoneyPaw etc.
